and trainings.

The CCRC hosted a Welcome Back to Campus event on September 5, 2024 showcasing exciting developments and future plans for the organization and highlighted opportunities for collaboration with regional community members, CU faculty, students, and more. The event featured presentations from CCRC on recent achievements and upcoming initiatives, including expanding its role in community partnerships and upcoming exciting grant opportunities. Through mutual learning and experience-sharing, CU Boulder’s Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship also shared its journey, current projects, and future goals, focusing on fostering public scholarship. Attendees, including faculty from CU Denver and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), as well as interested CU students, engaged in discussions about how the CU Denver’s CCRC and CU Boulder’s PACES can work together to strengthen civic engagement and research collaborations in the Front Range. This gathering complements the April 2023 summit that saw engaged scholars from all four University of Colorado campuses, as well as CU System’s Office of Outreach & Engagement, meet to explore increased collaboration and mutual support.
