Workshops and Trainings
-
Trainings for researchers in any discipline that are working towards funding for and/or executing a project that incorporates or requires community engaged and/or community based research. These trainings are led by experts in the field of community engaged research at CU Denver | Anschutz. Trainings can be tailored to your research needs and can cover: co-creating research questions, building your team, sustaining long-term relationships with your community partners, and more.
-
These workshops are for community groups that are looking to lead a research project for an issue in their community. Lead researchers will put together a workshop tailored to your needs and can cover topics such as: grant writing, data collection/analysis, project management, and how to distribute and leverage the information you gain from a research study.
Research Collaborations
-
Short-term projects are grant- or fee-funded projects that the CCRC and a community/instititional partner conduct over a 6-12 month time frame. These projects are generally more solution oriented and are based on the guidance and needs of the partners.
-
Long-term research collaborations are multi-year projects funded by external grants. External grants will be sought by the CCRC and applied and procured in partnership with a community organization lead researcher. Long-term collaborations are typically those that require longer data collection, testing, and collaboration.
